Edge City was born in 1970 as one of Jacksonville's original head shops — a countercultural beacon in the heart of Five Points. Over five decades, it evolved into something far more enduring: the city's most beloved independent boutique, a place where fashion, art, and community converge.
For nearly fifty years, Gunnel Humphreys stewarded Edge City with an uncompromising eye for the eclectic and the extraordinary. In 2024, Cheryl and Laura Croft took the torch — honoring the store's storied legacy while ushering in a new chapter of curated luxury.
